On Monday, the company released an update, outlining its financial performance for the fourth quarter and the full year of 2022.
Fourth Quarter Brings Success for STS Group
The new data revealed that in Q4, 2022, STS enjoyed its highest net gaming revenue (NGR). The NGR for the fourth quarter of 2022 hit PLN 200 million ($46.2 million), marking a significant increase of 47% when compared to the PLN 136 million ($31.4 million) result from the corresponding period in 2021. Additionally, the amount wagered by STS customers in Q4, 2022 hit PLN 1.38 billion ($318.6 million). This result marked a strong 13% increase when compared to the PLN 1.22 billion ($281.6 million) in amount staked for Q4 in 2021.
Strong growth was also observed when it comes to STS’ customer base. The company explained that in Q4, 2022, the number of active customers hit 542,000, up significantly when compared to the 386,000 active customers in Q4 the previous year. In Q4, 2021, the number of registrations halted at 87,000, while in Q4 2022, this number soared to 202,000. What’s more, the number of customers that made a first deposit in Q4 2022 hit 154,000, up by 157% when compared to the 60,000 result from Q4 in 2021.

Mateusz Juroszek, STS Holding’s president of the Management Board, shared his excitement saying that the latest announcement reaffirmed the company’s predictions for Q4. He pointed out that the increase in customer activity was positively boosted by the World Cup championship in Qatar. Juroszek said that for the last three months of the year, STS attracted some 200,000 new customers.
Focusing on the bigger picture, STS was also happy with its full-year 2022 performance. The company’s trading update revealed that NGR in 2022 hit PLN 663 million ($153 million), marking a 17% increase when compared to the PLN 565 million ($130.4 million) result from 2021.
The overall amount wagered by STS customers in 2021 was PLN 4.49 billion ($1.04 billion), while in 2022, it increased by 4% to PLN 4.68 billion ($1.08 billion). The number of active users in 2021 halted at 693,000, while last year, it soared to 783,000. Not unexpectedly, the number of new registrations and customers making first time deposits increased by 19% to 439,000 and by 27% to 317,000 respectively, when compared to the results from 2021.
