Ralitsa Georgieva will be stepping in as Director of Business for the up-and-coming Octoplay, which is rapidly looking to expand its geographical reach and deliver new products tailored to appeal to a broad audience.
Trusted Industry Veteran to Help Octoplay Grow
Georgieva is a seasoned industry veteran, having worked as head of commercials at Bombay Group and now stepping in to help Octoplay with the company’s ambitious reach in regulated markets.
Georgieva is also a known acquaintance of Carl Ejlertsson, Octoplay’s chief executive, with whom she has worked at Red Tiger. She is hailed as a leading industry professional who brings an in-depth understanding of operator requirements, which is what will help Octoplay boost its results and performance.
Ejlertsson was similarly pleased with the opportunity and said that he saw the new appointment as a knowledgeable and talented individual that the company is thrilled to have on the team. Ejlertsson stated:
She is well-connected in the industry and has a deep understanding of what we are striving to achieve at Octoplay.

For her part, Georgieva was similarly pleased with the development and hailed Octoplay for shaping itself as a company with a significant impact on the gaming industry. She added that she was looking forward to working with the Octoplay team and a number of her former colleagues from Red Tiger who are now part of the company’s lineup.
Octoplay has been not wasting any time in the meantime, bringing fresh games online. The company launched its second in-house studio, Penguin King, which comes as a supplement to the already launched Super Hippo development arm, both of which operate under the Octoplay umbrella.
Octoplay has been able to acquire both a Malta Gaming Authority and Romanian licenses and is now focused on pushing its footprint in regulated gambling markets.
