OlyBet Becomes the Newest Member of IBIA

OlyBet, the leading betting brand with significant experience from the Baltic region that is also a part of Olympic Entertainment Group, vowed its support for betting integrity by becoming the latest member of the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA).

IBIA is a globally-recognized organization that is the voice of the licensed betting industry. It is created by operators for operators and helps its members with collective action by monitoring and helping the prosecution of sports integrity threats such as match-fixing or other forms of manipulation.

Thanks to the new collaboration, OlyBet joins a growing list of more than 50 betting and gaming companies that have already vowed support for IBIA. Additionally, more than 120 sports betting brands also collaborate with the Association, helping with the monitoring and integrity of different sports events around the globe.

Through collaborative efforts, IBIA members help flag suspicious betting activities and uncover match-fixing attempts. The Association currently has a growing network of partners within the regulatory landscape and the betting vertical, allowing it to leverage data and investigate fraud or manipulation attempts. Such data can also be used by different governing bodies when prosecuting match-fixing or other sports integrity threats.

Khalid Ali, IBIA’s CEO, welcomed OlyBet to the Association’s growing list of partners. He explained that the brand delivers extensive knowledge within the Baltic region. “We intend to work closely with OlyBet to harness that important regional knowledge base to protect our global network from corrupt betting practices linked to match-fixing,” added Ali.

According to IBIA’s CEO, OlyBet’s decision to become a member of the Association reaffirms its ongoing commitment to sports integrity. Finally, he said that the collaboration enables the company to contribute to the global protection of sports integrity.

Recently, OlyBet announced other important deals with sports organizations such as the one with the DP World Tour and Euroleague Basketball. Additionally, the company is also an official sports betting partner of the National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). Now, the collaboration enables OlyBet to stay at the forefront of sports integrity and help monitor such activities to prevent manipulation attempts.
