Fanatics Betting and Gaming, the online and retail sports betting arm of Fanatics Holdings, Inc., has officially launched the Fanatics Sportsbook app in Maryland, Massachusetts, Ohio, and Tennessee.
Fanatics Sportsbook App Unveils Dynamic Features for Avid Sports Enthusiasts
The Fanatics Sportsbook app introduces a slew of features that cater to avid sports enthusiasts. The app boasts streamlined signup procedures, simplified betting processes, and transparent withdrawals. The key highlight is its intuitive search functionality, enabling users to locate bets quickly.
In a bid to enhance user experience, the app showcases live scores, lines, and odds for a multitude of sports events. From moneyline and spread bets to over-under and player props, the Fanatics Sportsbook app aims to cater to every type of sports bettor.
Scot McClintic, chief product officer at Fanatics Betting and Gaming, emphasized the company’s dedication to customer satisfaction: “We are laser-focused on solving pain points facing customers by offering a faster, easier, and a more rewarding sports betting experience.” McClintic also highlighted the company’s strategic approach to building a product that transforms customer expectations of what a sportsbook should offer.
A significant aspect of the Fanatics Sportsbook’s appeal is the integration of FanCash – The Currency of Sport. FanCash is the cornerstone of the Fanatics loyalty program, offering users access to exclusive experiences. FanCash can be converted into Bonus Bets and even utilized for purchasing team merchandise on Fanatics.com. The loyalty program incentivizes participation by offering FanCash rewards based on the type of bets placed, with 5% on Same Game Parlay (SGP) bets, 3% on parlay bets, and 1% on straight bets.
PointsBet Integration Enhances Fanatics Sportsbook’s Tech Capabilities
Fanatics Betting and Gaming’s recent acquisition of the US operations of PointsBet and its proprietary Banach Technology has further bolstered the Fanatics Sportsbook’s capabilities. By integrating PointsBet’s technology, the sports betting engine receives an injection of sophisticated trading models and risk assessment tools, paving the way for a dynamic and responsive platform.
Thanks to the PointsBet deal, Fanatics Sportsbook is also making strides toward obtaining a sports betting license in New York. The New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC) recently discussed the implications of the acquisition, with Fanatics submitting bids in spring and subsequently undergoing thorough scrutiny to determine its fitness to operate the license.
While the NYSGC’s decision is expected in September, Fanatics’ incorporation of PointsBet’s technology is poised to facilitate a seamless transition for bettors. The full launch of Fanatics Sportsbook in New York, however, might take until early spring 2024. Fanatics is also rumored to enter the Arizona market as the Arizona Department of Gaming (ADG) is getting ready to grant three additional sports betting licenses, thus expanding the state’s sports gambling sector.
